Mint Chutney
This goes well with a variety of Indian hors d'oeuvre, e.g., pakora, samosa, or shami kebab. Adding nuts
(pine nuts, cashews, or peanuts) makes a creamier version.
- 1 bunch mint
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 1 medium onion
- 1 inch ginger roor
- 3 cloves garlic

- 1 tablespoon pine nuts
- 1 green chile
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Grind all ingredients in a food processor, adding enough water to make a smooth paste.
